THIS IS FOR YOU

FOR YOU IF YOU VISIT MY BLOG
I DONT THINK YOU DO BUT WHO KNOWs
LIFE IS FULL OF SURPRISES

All I know is that you're so nice,
You're the nicest thing I've seen.
I wish that we could give it a go,
See if we could be something.

I wish I was your favourite girl,
I wish you thought I was the reason you are in the world.
I wish I was your favourite smile,
I wish the way that I dressed was your favourite kind of style.

I wish you couldn't figure me out,
But you always wanna know what I was about.
I wish you'd hold my hand when I was upset,
I wish you'd never forget the look on my face when we first met.

I wish you had a favourite beauty spot that you loved secretly,
'Cos it was on a hidden bit that nobody else could see.
Basically, I wish that you loved me,
I wish that you needed me,
I wish that you knew when I said two sugars, actually I meant three.

I wish that without me your heart would break,
I wish that without me you'd be spending the rest of your nights awake.
I wish that without me you couldn't eat,
I wish I was the last thing on your mind before you went to sleep.

All i know is that you're the nicest thing I've ever seen;
I wish that we could see if we could be something

Still have hope !

Oh my sweet mistake i love you
Don't ignore the sadness in me
i cant make it with or without you
take my heart to show me the way
Drag me to happiness
take me away from home
in my loneliness
i cant carry on
wake my sleeping mind
and wispier to me hold on
Change the thing in me
let me move on and on
so .. lets carry on ..

the sun is still shining
but i still feel cold

the day is still a day
but i'm a 100 years old

the thin line between us
is turning into bold

and the empty space you left
is larger than the world

and i'm carry on ...

"He told me its over
but i still have hope"

"Love Is A Lonely Place Without You"

Cher song for the one in my mind ...

"Love is a lonely place without you"

I know I'm not alone
I should not be afraid
Cause I hear your voice
And I know you're there beside me

And so I give my heart
I live to love again
But I can't let go
Of the way I feel about you

Love is a lonely place without you
I miss you
And you're almost here
And I'm almost touching you
Love is a place I have to hide away

I'll never love this way again (again)

If love was ever true
I know it was with you
Cause you touch my soul and
You stay with me forever

No tears, no said goodbyes
There are no reasons why
But I'm holding on
I believe in love eternal

Love is a lonely place without you
I miss you
And you're almost here
And I'm almost touching you
Love is a place I have to hide away
I'll never love this way again (again)

Though I'm moving on
I'm still holding on - holding on - holding on

Love is a lonely place without you
I miss you
And you're almost here
And I'm almost touching you
Love is a place I have to hide away
I'll never love this way again (again)

Stop Canada's Cruel and Senseless Seal Hunt!

Nearly 1 million baby seals will be clubbed or shot to death in Canada in just three years. Shockingly, the hunt is subsidized by the Canadian government!

Every winter, Northwest Atlantic harp seals migrate to Eastern Canada to give birth and mate. Following their birth in late winter, mothers leave in search of mates, while the pups remain helpless and vulnerable on the ice until they can swim and catch their own food. It’s during this time when they are most vulnerable that they are mercilessly slaughtered for their pelts!

Hunters armed with clubs and rifles will bludgeon to death hundreds of thousands of baby harp seals. About 96% of the seals killed will be less than three months old and more than 40% may be skinned alive!

Canada's seal hunt is the largest deliberate slaughter of marine mammals in the world. But the killing of baby seals doesn't make sense economically or ecologically, nor is it sustainable. It's simply a tragic slaughter of defenseless animals that benefits a small minority of boat captains armed with big ships, snowmobiles and even personal helicopters. This isn't about small town survival or tradition, it's an industrial killing machine for profit.

But Canada wants the media and public to believe that no one cares about the innocent blood spilled each year across the Gulf of St. Lawrence. This year's hunt will continue until the industry reaches its quota of 319,500 seals. That's why we must raise a public outcry.

Please tell the Canadian government that you do care and that this practice is unacceptable. We must show the Canadian Parliament that the rest of the world will no longer stand for this cruel and senseless hunt!

How To Hack An Elevator!

A very easy way to hack elevators so they don't stop for anyone who call for it. Its said that this hack works in about 80 %- 90% of elevators, but we cant vouch for it. And if it does work then this is good news for the people who keep getting late!

New iPod range goes touchy feely

Apple has unveield a new music player called the iPod Touch, a new version of its popular media player with wireless internet access and other touch screen features found on the iPhone.
It features the same 3.5-inch, touch-screen display as the iPhone, on which light finger touches allow the user to scroll through menus and resize pictures with two fingers.
The iPod Touch includes the Safari Web browser, with Google and Yahoo search engines and easy access to YouTube videos.
The iPod Touch is 8mm thick, and can store photos, music, videos and other digital data. It is priced at $A419 and will be available in Australia later this month. A 16GB model will go on sale for $A549.
"The iPod touch is a landmark iPod, ushering in a whole new generation of features based on its revolutionary multi-touch interface and built-in Wi-Fi wireless networking," said Apple CEO Steve Jobs.
Apple also announced that it would cut the price of the top iPhone by $US200, and discontinued the low-end model. The iPhone is currently only available in the United States. Apple has said it plans to launch the phone in Australia next year.
The 8-gigabyte iPhone will now sell for $US399, and the 4-gigabyte model, which sold for $US399, will be phased out.
"We want to put the iPhone in a lot of stockings this holiday season," Jobs said at a special media event near downtown San Francisco.
"It's one of the seven wonders of the world — it's just incredible," Jobs told employees and journalists gathered at a special media event.
Jobs also unveiled other new versions of the company's market-leading iPod, including an iPod Nano with a 6.5cm video monitor for watching movies and playing built-in games. The current version has a 5cm screen but does not play videos.
"It's incredibly tiny. It's incredibly thin," Jobs said of the new Nano, which features a 320-by-240-pixel screen with 24 hours of audio playback. "We think it's really, really beautiful."

New Apple iPods Expected Sept. 5

Apple has scheduled an announcement for Sept. 5, sparking a new round of speculation that the computer maker was getting ready to unveil a line of iPods.
Apple sent out press invitations late Tuesday, notifying the media that the announcement would be made at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. The notification essentially confirmed reports on Apple enthusiast sites that the company planned to make a product announcement in early September.

Reports on Apple's plans focus primarily on a new line of iPods. AppleInsider reported last week that the new breed would be powered by a derivative of Apple's Mac OS.

The upcoming event also reignited speculation that Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs would announce a deal to offer the long-awaited Beatles music catalog on iTunes. That rumor has been a favorite among Apple enthusiasts since the company in February settled its legal troubles with Apple Corps., the record company founded by the Fab Four.

The latest round of speculation and reports was good news for Apple investors. Shares of the company on Wednesday rose $5.72, or 4.5%, to $131.13 on the Nasdaq Stock Market. Goldman Sachs analyst David Bailey told The Wall Street Journal that the upcoming Apple event was "the almost certain launch of a new family of iPods."

Apple does not discuss future product plans in advance of formal announcements, but AppleInsider, quoting unidentified sources, said the company's iPod roadmap for the fall includes as many as four new models. The company is expected to unveil Mac OS versions of the video iPod and iPod Nano, according to the site.

Derivatives of the Mac OS is currently used in the Mac, iPhone, and Apple TV, so it would make sense that Apple would want to expand use of the operating system to the iPod. Samir Bhavnani, analyst for Current Analysis West, said running the new iPods on the Mac OS would turn the iPod from a "dumb device" to a gadget that Apple could develop a lot more software and services for. "The potential is here to raise the utility of the iPod," he said. "Suddenly, it can do other things. It's like putting a master's degree in iPod."

Bhavnani also said the iPod was in need of a facelift. "The iPod is due for a refresh," Bhavnani said. "What that would do for Apple is give customers a reason to buy new products heading into the holiday shopping season."

As to the Beatles catalog, Bhavnani said, "It wouldn't shock me if that announcement was made. It may be the 'one-more-thing' announcement." In launching new products, Jobs often adds surprise announcements at the end with the phrase, "One more thing."

While the iPhone has the same music and video capabilities of the iPod, the latter device is expected to remain attractive to consumers for some time. Besides being far less expensive, the iPod and other MP3 devices remain the favorites of consumers for downloading and playing music and video.

A recent study by JupiterResearch found that only about 5% of consumers surveyed reported transferring songs from their PCs to their mobile phones, and only 2% reported downloading songs over the air.

While the attention-getting iPhone could raise consumer awareness of music phones from other manufacturers, it's unlikely to change the current trend, JupiterResearch said. Instead, wireless carriers and handset makers must show real value of such capabilities.

10 GOOD REASONS TO CHOOSE VEGETARIAN

1) Your health: prevent disease. Meat-eating has been linked with cancer, heart disease, strokes, diabetes, hypertension, osteoporosis, kidney stones, and many other devastating diseases. By eliminating meat from your diet you can take a crucial step towards a long life of health and happiness.

2) Increased energy and endurance: A vegetarian diet improves your stamina, concentration, and sense of well-being. In one study, athletes who switched to a vegetarian diet improved their endurance to almost 3 times as much as those who remained carnivorous.

3) Avoid toxic food contaminants: Flesh foods are loaded with dangerous poisons and contaminants such as hormones, herbicides and pesticides, and antibiotics. As these toxins are all fat-soluble, they concentrate in the fatty flesh of the animals. Not to mention the viruses, bacteria and parasites such as salmonella, trichinella and other worms, and toxoplasmosis parasites.

4) Humans are by design vegetarian: our flat teeth are perfect for grinding grains and vegetables, not for tearing apart animal flesh. Similarly, our hands are designed for gathering, not for flesh-ripping. Our saliva contains the enzyme alpha-amylase, the sole purpose of which is to digest the complex carbohydrates in plant foods. (This enzyme is not found in the saliva of carnivores.) Basically we have all the right apparatus to consume vegetarian products, and none of the right apparatus for flesh foods.

5) Care for the environment: by improperly using animals for food, we are eating ourselves off the planet. The raising of animals specifically to kill them and eat them has resulted in incredible waste and devastation of our precious resources. Just one example of the consequences is the fact that due to plundering our farmlands to fatten animals for slaughter, over 4 million acres of cropland are being lost to erosion in this country every year.

6) Help end world hunger: every day forty thousand children on this planet needlessly starve to death. According to the Department of Agriculture statistics, one acre of land can grow 20,000 pounds of potatoes. That same acre of land, when used to grow cattlefeed, can produce less than 165 pounds of edible cow flesh.

7) Become a more peaceful person: when we consume animal flesh products we are necessarily at odds with nature and our fellow living beings. Consumption of flesh foods has been scientifically linked with violent and aggressive behavior.

8) Have compassion for animals: animals who are raised for slaughter needlessly experience incredible suffering throughout their life and death. Many people try not to think of the torturous experiences of the animal whose flesh ended up in their hamburger or on their dinner table. But if it is distasteful to think about, consider what it is like to experience it.

9) Vegetarianism is moral and ethical: give the devastating consequences of meat eating on an individual, social and ecological level, as thinking, caring beings we should choose vegetarianism. Many great philosophers such as Plato, Socrates, Leo Tolstoy, and George Bernard Shaw have taught the morality of vegetarianism.

10) Animals are God's property and have a right to life: the living beings temporarily encaged in animal bodies are not here for us to harm and exploit. We are meant to act as caretakers and protectors of animals and the planet, not exploiters and killers. Many world religions, including Buddhism, Hinduism, Seventh Day Adventists, Mormons, and Jainists all teach that eating animal flesh is wrong.
